You will be lifting often. Bags of feed can weigh 50 pounds. You might move pallets that weigh over 2000 pounds with equipment. You will also climb reach kneel and stand for hours.

This is not a desk job. If you like staying active and working with your hands you will fit in. If you avoid physical work this role will be tough.

You will not be working alone. The store runs on teamwork. That means helping others and staying flexible when things get busy.

You will also deal with problems. That could be a missing item a customer complaint or a safety issue. Stay calm solve the issue and move on. That is what the best teammates do.


Pay and Benefits

Most sales associates make between 14 and 18 per hour. Some start closer to 12 depending on the store. Part time workers can get benefits too if they average 15 or more hours each week over 90 days.
